At the heart of Portence is a single obsession: the science of surface protection.

Founder Dimitri Vouyoukas spent over 18 years mastering the high stakes world of automotive detailing and protection. In that industry, perfection isn’t just a goal, it’s the baseline. Dealing with high performance paints, complex alloys, and the harsh environmental stressors that attack luxury vehicles, Dimitri became an expert in what it takes to make a material truly endure.

During nearly two decades of protecting some of the finest automotive assets in Quebec, Dimitri noticed a glaring gap in the market. While homeowners in areas like Laval were investing heavily in beautiful homes, their architectural surfaces garage doors, entryways, and metal accents were being left to fail.
